1、8/26/75 SQM-1 FULL-LOGIC DECODER INFORMATION GENERAL : The BOSE SQM-1 i s a plug-in, p r i n t e d - c i r c u i t board that allows proper decoding o f SQ source material and simulation of four-channel sound from stereo sources. The plug-in module becomes activated when the mode switch on the 4401

2、preamplifier i s placed i n either the SQ MATRIX or SQ LOGIC positions. When the SQ MATRIX mode i s selected, SQ encoded source material i s piopog-ly decoded t o produce a four-channel output. This p o s i t i o n ma:y also be used for other phase-matrix program material (such as QS) f o r pleasing

3、 four-channel e f f e c t s . I n addition, the SQ MATRIX p o s i t i o n may be used f o r enhancement o f stereo program material, When the 4401 mode switch i s i n the SQ LOGIC p o s i t i o n , special f u l l wave-matching logie control c i r c u i t r y i s activated to improve separation betw

4、een a l i channels for optimum performance with SQ encoded program material. SPECIFIC: I n t e r n a l l y i n s t a l l e d module connecting t o JlOl of the 4401 preamplifier. High-quality, glass epoxy, p r i n t e d - c i r c u i t board construction. F u l l wave-matching logie design incorporat

5、ing three integrated c i r c u i t s with a d d i t i o n a l t r a n s i s t o r power supply regulation. Frequency responso 50-15 kHz +. 1 dB. Harmonic d i s t o r t i o n (THD) 0.4% a t 2 kHz.
