10、ng specification equal to those originally installed. LITHIUM BATTERY HANDLING This product uses a lithium battery for memory back-up. WARNING : Lithium batteries are dangerous because they can be exploded by improper handling. Observe the following precautions when handling or replacing lithium bat
11、teries. Leave lithium battery replacement to qualified service personnel. Always replace with batteries of the same type. When installing on the PC board by soldering, solder using the connection terminals provided on the battery cells. Never solder directly to the cells. Perform the soldering as qu
12、ickly as possible. Never reverse the battery polarities when installing. Do not short the batteries. Do not attempt to recharge these batteries. Do not disasemble the batteries. The wires in this mains l
18、ead are coloured in accordance with the following code: GREEN-AND-YELLOW : EARTH BLUE : NEUTRAL BROWN : LIVE As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug proceed as follows: The wire which is colo
19、ured GREEN-and-YELLOW must be connected to the terminal in the plug which is marked by the letter E or by the safety earth symbol or colored GREEN or GREEN-and-YELLOW. The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK. The wire whic
20、h is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured RED. This product utilizes an internal backup battery that is used to retain your data after the product is turned off. The backup battery is a consumable item. We recommend your replace the backup ba
21、ttery before it is depleted, otherwise data retained in memory(*1) will be lost. When the backup battery needs to be replaced, “Low Battery” or “No Battery” will appear on the display. The average life of the backup battery is approximately five years, depending on operating conditions. *1: The foll
22、ow data are retained by the backup battery. Internal clock information No other data relies on the backup battery, therefore no other data will be lost if the backup battery is depleted. This product regularly saves the state of its workspace so that it can return to the previous state when the prod
23、uct is turned on. To ensure that the state is saved properly, wait at least 10 seconds after performing the last operation before turning the product off.
