15、e reading will be obtained on either side of the correct setting. The RF and Mixer lines are pre-set at the factory and are very stable and normally do not require adjustment In the field. The local oscillator operates 24.35MC above the center frequency of each TV channel. To set the local oscillato
16、r, a separate BFO generator set at 24.35M3 Is used to obtain a zero beat with this difference frequency. Couple the BFO generator to the receiver by means of a few turns of hook-up wire coiled around the 6AL5 video detector (V7) . Connect a .01MFD capacitor between pin 1 (Grid) of the 6AU6 video amp
17、. (V8) to pin 1 of the 6AT6 audio Ar.ip. (V12). Turn the fine tuning control to the midpoint of Its ranf.e and set the channel selector switch to the channel which Is to be aligned. The oscillator circuits of the individual channels are Independent of each other and therefore only those channels req
