17、recorded in CDAudio or Video CD format, or with MP3 audio files.Playable DiscAbout VIDEO CDsNOTES ON DISCSERVICE GUIDE DPS-5.1PANEL VIEWPower switch and Standby indicator Turns on the main power supply for the DPS-5.2. The DPS-5.2enters standby state and the Standby indicator lights up. Pressingthe
18、switch again to the off position (Off) shuts down the mainpower supply into the DPS-5.2. Before turning on the power, make sure all cables are properlyconnected.Standby/On button When Standby/On button is pressed to On while the Powerswitch is set to On, the DPS-5.2 turns on and the Standbyindicator
19、 turns off. Pressing the button again returns the DPS-5.2to the standby state.Last Memory button You can resume DVD or Video CD playback from the point youlast watched even if the disc is removed from the player. PressLast Memory during playback to set a Last Memory point. Whenyou want to resume pla
20、yback of that disc, press Last Memory inthe stop mode and playback starts from the memorized point.Last Memory locations can be stored for up to 5 DVDs and 1Video CD.Clear button Works in conjunction with a number of player functions. Use tocancel repeat and random playback, and to edit programs.Rem
21、ote control sensorPoint the remote control toward the remote sensor to operate theplayer.Disc tray When loading a disc, place discs in the disc tray with the labelside facing up.Top Menu button Press to call up the top menu programmed on the DVD.Depending on the DVD, the top menu may be identical to
22、 theDVD menu.Cursor (/ ) button/Enter buttonUse to move through the options on menu screens andto change settings. Use Enter to implement settings selected withthe cursor buttons or to set items highlighted in a menu.Menu button Use to display or close the DVD menu or MP3 Navigator screen.Open/Close
23、 button Press to open and close the disc tray. Pause buttonPress during playback to pause. Press again to resume playback.Stop button Press to stop playback. Pressing once enables playback toresume from a point shortly before the location where it stopped.Pressing twice causes the disc to return to
24、the beginning of thedisc if playback starts again.Play button Press to start or resume playback.Repeat button Use to set the repeat mode.Random buttonPress to play chapters/tracks in random order.Return buttonUse to go one menu back (current settings are maintained). UseRETURN when you do not want t
