2、operating instructionsshould be retained for future reference.Heed warnings - All warnings on the appliance and in theoperating instructions should be adhered to.Follow instructions - All operating and use instructionsshould be followed.Water and Moisture - The appliance should not be usednear water
3、 - for example, near a bathtub, washbowl,kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near aswimming pool, and the like.Carts and Stands - The appliance should be used onlywith a cart or stand that is recommended by the manufac-turer.An appliance and cart combination should be moved withcare. Qu
4、ick stops, excessive force, and uneven surfacesmay cause the appliance and cart combination to over-turn.Wall or Ceiling Mounting - The appliance should bemounted to a wall or ceiling only as recommended by themanufacturer.Ventilation - The appliance should be situated so that itslocation or positio
5、n does not interfere with its proper ven-tilation. For example, the appliance should not be situ-ated on a bed, sofa, rug, or similar surface that may blockthe ventilation openings; or, placed in a built-in installa-tion, such as a bookcase or cabinet that may impede theflow of air through the venti
6、lation openings.Heat - The appliance should be situated away from heatsources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or otherappliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.Power Sources - The appliance should be connected to apower supply only of the type described in the operatinginstructi
7、ons or as marked on the appliance.Grounding or Polarization - The precautions that shouldbe taken so that the grounding or polarization means ofan appliance is not defeated.Power Cord Protection - Power supply cords should berouted so that they are not likely to be walked on orpinched by items place
8、d upon or against them, payingparticular attention to cords at plugs, convenience recep-tacles, and the point where they exit from the appliance.Cleaning - The appliance should be cleaned only as rec-ommended by the manufacturer.Nonuse Periods - The power cord of the appliance shouldbe unplugged fro
9、m the outlet when left unused for a longperiod of time.Object and Liquid Entry - Care should be taken so thatobjects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the en-closure through openings.Damage requiring Service - The appliance should be ser-viced by qualified service personnel when:A.B.C.D.E

However, as you can see from the Fig. 1,comparing to the conventional CD, the CD-R disc also has so-called “minus” areas such as PCA (Power
21、 Calibration Area) andPMA (Program Memory Area) where the temporary informationis recorded. Unrecorded, blank discThe information area is located next to the clamping area and thecenter hole. This area contains a pregroove with CLV (ConstantLinear Velocity) clocking information and a time code. Part
22、ially recorded discThe CD-R system gives the opportunity to record a disc in severalactions at a different time on a different recorder. After the firstrecording, the information area is divided into five parts as shownbelow and in the right.1: Power Calibration Area (PCA)2: Program Memory Area (PMA
