2、operating instruc-tions should be read before the appliance is operated.Retain instructions - The safety and operating instructionsshould be retained for future reference.Heed warnings - All warnings on the appliance and in theoperating instructions should be adhered to.Follow instructions - All ope
3、rating and use instructionsshould be followed.Water and Moisture - The appliance should not be usednear water - for example, near a bathtub, washbowl,kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near aswimming pool, and the like.Carts and Stands - The appliance should be used onlywith a cart or
4、stand that is recommended by the manufac-turer.An appliance and cart combination should be moved withcare. Quick stops, excessive force, and uneven surfacesmay cause the appliance and cart combination to over-turn.Wall or Ceiling Mounting - The appliance should bemounted to a wall or ceiling only as
5、 recommended by themanufacturer.Ventilation - The appliance should be situated so that itslocation or position does not interfere with its proper ven-tilation. For example, the appliance should not be situ-ated on a bed, sofa, rug, or similar surface that may blockthe ventilation openings; or, place
6、d in a built-in installa-tion, such as a bookcase or cabinet that may impede theflow of air through the ventilation openings.Heat - The appliance should be situated away from heatsources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or otherappliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.Power Sour
7、ces - The appliance should be connected to apower supply only of the type described in the operatinginstructions or as marked on the appliance.Grounding or Polarization - The precautions that shouldbe taken so that the grounding or polarization means ofan appliance is not defeated.Power Cord Protect
8、ion - Power supply cords should berouted so that they are not likely to be walked on orpinched by items placed upon or against them, payingparticular attention to cords at plugs, convenience recep-tacles, and the point where they exit from the appliance.Cleaning - The appliance should be cleaned onl
9、y as rec-ommended by the manufacturer.Nonuse Periods - The power cord of the appliance shouldbe unplugged from the outlet when left unused for a longperiod of time.Object and Liquid Entry - Care should be taken so thatobjects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the en-closure through openin
10、gs.Damage requiring Service - The appliance should be ser-viced by qualified service personnel when:A.B.C.D.E.Servicing - The user should not attempt to service the ap-pliance beyond that described in the operating instruc-tions. 16、hnician.LEAKAGE CURRENT CHECKMeasure leakage current to a known earth ground (waterpipe, conduit, etc.) by connecting a leakage current testersuch as Simpson Model 229-2 or equivalent between theearth ground and all exposed metal parts of the appliance(input/output terminals, screw heads, metal over
17、lays,control shaft, etc.). Plug the AC line cord of the appliancedirectly into a 120V AC 60Hz outlet and turn the AC powerswitch on.
