To protect your eyes and skin from laser radiation, the following precautions must beused during servicing of
16、 the unit.1) When testing and/or repairing any component within the product, keep your eyes and skin more than 30 cm away fromthe laser pick-up unit at all times. Do not stare at the laser beam at any time.2) Do not attempt to readjust, disassemble or repair the laser pick-up, unless noted elsewhere
17、 in this manual.3) CAUTION : Use of controls, adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified herein may result inhazardous radiation exposure.Laser Emitting conditions:1) When the top cover is removed, and the STANDBY/ON SW is turned to the “ON” position, the laser component wil

23、0CD-S2000I PREVENTION OF ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGESome semiconductor (solid state) devices can be damaged easily by static electricity. Such components commonly are calledElectrostatically Sensitive (ES) Devices. Examples of typical ES devices are integrated circuits and some field-effect transis-tors

Immediately before handling any semiconductor component or semiconductor-equipped assembly, drain off any ESD onyour body by tou

Alternatively, obtain and wear a commercially available discharging ESD wriststrap, which should be removed for potential shock reasons prior to applying power to the unit under test.2. After removing an electrical assembly equipped with ES devices, place the assembly on
