2、mittoeachotherfromadockediPodorexternalsourcewiredsource.Internalbatterypowersupply.EasilyreplaceableiPodheader(coveredlatterinmanual).AccessAlthoughverycompacttherCubeisdesignedtobeserviceablewithaccessgainedfromunderneathtoallelectroniccircuits(removethefourrubberfeet)youwillseefourPhilipsscrews,o
3、ncetheseareremovedthebaseplatecanbeliftedawayexposingthemaincircuitboard.Themainspeakerarrayisnotconsideredaserviceablepartbutwillbeavailableasacompleteassembly.Pleaseseedetailedexplodedview.CircuitdescriptionPSUandchargeThe19VD.CPSUfortherCubeisderivedfromeitheranexternalregulatedPSUorifnotpresentf
4、romtheinternallithiumionbatterypacksthefollowingisadescriptionofthePSUselection.Theexternal19VpowersupplyisconnectedtoCon600andisinternallyfusedbythe4AfuseatlocationFS600therearpanelswitchcanbeseenatlocationSW600(a),D600isusedtopreventreversebias,D602andTR600fromaD.Csensecircuitthislinegoestothemain
5、microatlocationU301pin7.PSUselectioniscontrolbytheMAX1873SwitchmodeLichargecontrolleratlocationIC603theexternal19vsourcecanbeseentoarriveatpin15(DCin)andwhenpresentsimplybypassesthechipwhilstbeingmonitoredbypins1/2(currentsense)andcanbeseentoformthe19vsourcenetonthediagram.Theinternalbatterysourceca
6、nbeseenconnectedtoCON602andagaintravelsthruthe2ndpoleofswitchesavailableonSW600(b)D605andTR603areusedtoformsimplelogictoindicatetomicroU301thatbatterypowerispresent,D606allowsapathtothemain19vnetwhilstpreventingreversebias,theMosfet(M601)isusedtoenablechargeifnecessarywhenpowerispresenttheentirecirc
