Press once (switch remains down (;) to turn on the power of the monitor. Press again (switch comes up (l) to turn off the power of the moni
15、tor. w Power Indicator This indicator is on when the monitors power is turned on. e Vertical Hold Control (V-HOLD) This control is used to lock the vertical position of the picture. r Brightness Control (BRIGHT) Adjusts the picture brightness. Turn this counterclock- wise to increase the picture bri
16、ghtness, and turning the control clockwise has the reverse effect. t Contrast Control (CONTRAST) Adjusts the picture contrast. Turn this counterclockwise to increase the picture contrast, and turning the control clockwise has the reverse effect. y Video Input Connector (VIDEO IN) For input of the co

Test Equipments Required 8The following Test Equipments are required for adjustment of the Video Monitor WV-BM990. 8Video Signal Generator (Crosshatch Signal) 8Monoscope Pattern Signal Generator 8Oscilloscope 8Digital Voltmeter 8Degaussing Coil 8Ceramic Screwdriver 8Electric T
19、orque Driver 2. Disassembling Procedure for the Adjustment 8Referring to Fig. 2-1, remove eight screws that secure the Upper Cover and the Rear Cover. Remove the Upper Cover and the Rear Cover. Fig. 2-1 3. Connection and Setting up for Adjustment 3.1. Connection 8Fig. 3-1 shows the connecting diagra
20、m for adjustment procedure of the WV-BM990. Fig 3-1 Remove eight screws. Upper Cover Rear Cover 8Connect the coaxial cable between Video Input Connector of the WV-BM990 and Video Output Connector of Video Signal Generator. 3.2. Setting Up 8Set the every adjusting VRs to their mechanical center posit
21、ions. 8This adjustment should be done after 20 minutes warm up of the WV-BM990. 4. Adjustment Procedure 8Refer to the Location of the Test Points and Adjusting Controls on the page 4. (1). Freerun Adjustment Test Point:Pin H+ of CN501 (H+)Main Board Adjust:VR501 (H-HOLD)Main Board VR515 (H.PRESET)Ma
22、in Board 8Disconnect all the input signals from the WV-BM990. 8Connect the Frequency Counter to Pin H+ of CN501. 8Fix VR501 (H-HOLD) at its center position. 8Adjust VR515 so that the frequency becomes 15.400 kHz 50 Hz.
