The BROWN wire must be connected to the terminal that is marked with the letter L (or coloured RED). Be certain that neither core is connected to the earth terminal of the three pin plug. This set employs a laser. Therefore, be sure to carefully follow the instructions below when servicing. When checking the laser diode emission, keep your eyes more than 30 cm away from the objective lens. To protect your eyes and skin from laser radiation, the following precaution must be used during servicing of the unit. 1) When testing and / or repairing any component within the product, keep your eyes and skin more than 30 cm away from the laser pick-up unit at all time.
