(2) EFFECT function (DSP6 operation check) Parameters: Use the “SERVICE1.PM5” fi le for “sound scene data”. * Download from YAMAHA homepage. Set WORD CLOCK to INT 96 kHz. Input the music signal from ANALOG INPUT CH1 and adjust the GAIN knob so that the STEREO METER OVER does not light up for any scene. Listen to STEREO OUT or PHONES OUT. INSPECTIONS Recall scene 5 (Reverb) and check the signal for at least 15 seconds. Judgment criteria 1: The EFFECT sounds must be output. Judgment criteria 2: The output should be free from noise. In the same manner, recall scenes 6 through 36 and inspect by listening. The scene numbers and EFFECT types are as follows. Power supply unit output voltage check After turning on the power, check the voltage between No. 1 pin (+24 V) and No. 15 pin (GND) of the DC POWER INPUT terminal. Voltage value: +25.0 0.5 V * If the output voltage value is out of the above voltage range, adjust the value to be within the voltage range with the voltage adjustment volume VR601 of the power supply unit (WE22290). 2-8. Power Supply CAUTION Inspection Connect the network terminal of the DSP5D and PC with an Ether cable. Start the DSP5D EDITOR from PC. Connect the PW800W to the DSP5D, turn on the power of the both and check the following: q Power Supply CAUTION Inspection of the Unit Check that “CAUTION” is shown on the PC when the power of only the DSP5D is turned off. w Power Supply CAUTION Inspection of the PW800W Check that “CAUTION” is shown on the PC when the pow- er of only the PW800W is turned off. This test program is used for “service check” of the DSP5D. Download “YAMAHA DME-N Network Driver” and “DSP5DTST_user.EXE” from YAMAHA homepage and install them on the personal computer. b. Personal Computer Setting 1) Setting Ethernet Control panel Open Network connection Open Local area connection Property Select Internet Protocol (TCP/ IP) Property Select “Use following IP address” Enter the following values for IP address and Subnet mask respectively OK OK to complete setup. (In case of Windows XP). 2) DME-N NETWORK Driver Setup (in case of V1.0.0 system) In case of V1.0.0 system, set up as follows. In case of V1.1 or higher, enter IP address. Control panel Open DME-N Network Driver Remove Advanced Settings Start Check that the numbers in the Device IP Address fi eld are 192, 168, 0, 129 and click checkbox Add to Device List Save and Close to complete setup. c. Use this test program with the OS: Windows 2000/ XP. Immediately after start-up, the screen as shown in Fig.1 appears. d. Items commonly applicable to this check 1) When there is no communication response as an individual judgment of each check, “Communication error” appears on the screen and the individual judgment becomes NG. 2) With some check items, the maximum number of NGs is 20 when there are too many NGs for the check results. 109 DSP5D Start-up screen (Fig. 1) ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
