FEATURES Totalquartz lockedcontinuouspitchadjustment f8% Quartz-phase-lockedcontrolmeansalmostperfectaccuracy ofturntablerotation. Butwithmostquartzturntables,thisaccuratecontrol circuitmustbecutoutwhenthepitchcontrolisemployed. WiththeSL-1200MK2,however,pitchisvariablecon- tinuously(analogically)byupto8%undertotalquartz- lockedcontrol.Thepitchiscontrolledwithalargesliding lever,locatedtotherightoftheturntableplatter. Theturntableplatterisalsovibration-dampedwithspecial- lyfabricatrubbermattingintheunderside alongwiththe thick turntable sheet(rubbermat).Fourlarge-sizeinsulating feet alsohelp toabsorbunwantedvibrations.
