Notes: Ensure that the speaker cables are correctlyconnected.Improper connections may damage thesystem due to short-circuit.For optimal sound performance, use thesupplied speakers.Do not connect more than one speaker to anyone pair of +/- speaker jacks.Do not connect speakers with an impedancelower than the speakers supplied.Please refer tothe SPECIFICATIONS section of this manual.Step 3:Connecting the controlcableConnect the serial port marked “CONTROLCABLE” at the rear of the DVD player to thesame port at the rear of the power amplifierwith the supplied flat control cable.Step 4:Connecting TVIMPORTANT!You only need to make one videoconnection from the following options,depending on the capabilities of your TV.Connect the DVD system directly tothe TV.Using Composite Video jackSUB WOOFERLINE OUT121Use the composite video connectors (yellow) ofthe supplied audio and composite video cables(2-in1) to connect the DVD system's VIDEOOUTjack to the video input jack (or labeled asA/ V In,CVBS,Composite or Baseband) on theTV.2Tohear the TV channels through this DVDsystem,use the audio connectors (white/ red) ofthe supplied audio and composite video cables(2-in1) to connect AUDIO INjacks to thecorresponding AUDIO OUT jacks on the TV.CONNECTION AND CONTROLSIMPORTANT!The type plate is located at thebottom of the system. Place the MW loop antenna on a shelf or attach to a stand or wall. Connect the supplied FM antenna to the FM (75 ohm) jack.Extend the FM antenna and fix its end the wall.For better FM stereo reception, connect an external FM antenna (not supplied). Recording (digital) CConnect the system's COAXIALorOPTICALjack to the DIGITAL IN jackon a digital recording device (such as DTS- Digital Theatre compatible,with DolbyDigital decoder).Before starting operation,set the DIGITALOUT according to the audio connection.
