Do likewise for the Panelleft (pos 251).3) Push the gear slowly towards the front as shown in figure2 until the CDC tray starts to move out of the Front Cabinet(pos 101). The CDC tray is now disengage and can bepulled out completely.Dismantling the 3CDC Module4) Remove the Cover Tray (pos 105) as shown in figure 2.5) Loosen 4 screws A to remove the CDC Module (pos 1104)as shown in figure 2.AAATurn the Gear towards the Fronttill the CDC Tray starts to openFigure 2Figure 1Dismantling of the Volume & Jog Rotary knobs1) Cut a piece of packaging tape approximately 5cm width by12cm length and tape its narrow side on to the top andbottom side of the Volume knob (pos 132) as shown infigure 3.Dismantling of the Front Panel assembly1) Loosen 2 screws below the Front Panel (pos 101) mountingit to the Bottom plate (pos 227).2) Release the 2 catches on the sides of the Front Panel toseparate it from the Bottom plate.3) Remove the Volume and Jog Rotary knob if the Frontboard needs to be dismantled. For Karaoke versions, theKaraoke knob (pos 133) also need to be removed.4) Loosen 8 screws B to remove the Front board as shown inFigure 5.5) Loosen 6 screws C and eject both cassette doors toremove the Tape mechanism (pos 1103) as shown in figure6.Note: The Cassette door can be removed only afterthe removal of the Tape mechanism and buttons.2) Place a small screw driver in between the tape & knob (seefigure 3) to give more leverage in pulling out the knob asshown in figure 4.3) Do likewise for the Jog Rotary knob (pos 131). You mayhave to rotate the knob to provide the most exposed areaduring application of the packaging tape.Figure 4Figure 3Figure 6Figure 52-2 2-2Service pos AService pos BNote: After re-assembly, it is very important to ensure allwires are routed properly to ensure that they do nottouch/obstruct all moving parts. The 3CDC Module can be complete detached whilerepair the other portion of the set.Dismantling of the Bottom & Rear Panel assembly1) Loosen 5 screws D mounting the Combi board to the RearPanel (pos 254) as shown in figure 9.2) Loosen 3 screws E and release the 2 catches on the sidesof the Rear Panel to separate it from the Bottom plate (pos227).3) Loosen 4 screws G to remove the Mains Transformer.5) Loosen 2 screws F to remove the Combi Board.Dismantling of the Cassette door Lenses1) Loosen the Lens Cassette Strip Left Top (pos 163) bypushing it towards the inside as indicated in Figure 7 andremove it by using a minus screw driver force it out asindicated in Figure 8.2) Remove the Lens Cassette Left (pos 161) by pushing ittowards the inside as indicated in Figure 7.
