Charge the pack before use. Ifafter purchase or extended storage (greater than2 months), battery capacity is found to be low, thebattery pack needs recharging. Repeating the charge/discharge cycles two or three times will restore thebattery to its normal capacity.1 Position the four grooves on the inside edges of thebattery pack over the corresponding guides on theback of the transceiver.42 Slide the battery pack along the back of thetransceiver until the release catch on the base ofthe transceiver locks the battery pack in place.3 To remove the battery pack, grasp the pack nearits tabs, pull back on the release catch, thenslide the pack away from the transceiver.
