If this happens, execute the following pro-cedure to reset the microcomputer and return the unit to itsnormal operating condition.For U.S.A. and CanadaUnplug the power cord from the wall outlet, thenplug it back in while holding down the POWER key.Except for U.S.A. and CanadaWith the power cord plugged in, turn the POWER keyOFF. The normal display obtained whenthe selector is set to TUNER then appears. E2PROM check(Etype only).Check the reading data and the writing data of theE2PROM after setting the test mode.Display shows blank if the reading data and writingdata are the same. Display shows “LW“ if the differentdata will be written to E2PROM.3-4 ACTIVE CONTENTS The mute control is not activated when the mode isswitched. The test mode will be terminated by plugging it off thepower source or by initializing it when all the settingswill be initialized. During the test mode, it can be operated in a specialmanner that is deferent from an ordinary operation byusing the keys on the remote control or the main body,specifically as shown in the following table (3-5 CON-TENTS).
