Tripple diffused mesa transistors are adopted as the powertransistors in the output stage for full-fidelity frequency response with largeaudio output power and least harmonic distortion. The inputs and outputs pr,ovided in the receiver include two pairs of pHONOMAG inputs. When two turntables are connected to these inputs, the useris able to switch from one turntable to the other any time at will. Also, twopairs of ioudspeaker outputs are included for switching between, or for per-mitting the simultaneous use of, two loudspeakers. The electronic switchrng circuitry employed in the power supply completely protectsexpensive power transistors even when the loudspeaker leads are shorted whilethe receiver un,L is in useINSTALLATIONAs this receiver is sully transistorized, desirable places to installit are as follows:OPlaces airy and free from humidity and dust. Avoid insta lingon close, low-ceiling shelves.OPlaces not directly exposed to the sun ray.OPlaces not close to heat-emitting objects such as heaters andstoves.LINE VOLTAGE SELECTION AND FUSESwitching Line Voltage Setting and FuseIn order to remove the fuse, turn the fuse cap located on theline voltage selector switch in the direction indicated by an arrow. Then remove the fuse plug from the unit. Put the fuse plugback so that the proper line voltage marktng can be seen thruthe cut on the edge of the plug.Whenever the set position of the selector swttch is changed, check the rating of the fuse. A 1.5-ampere fuse is to be usedfor either 220l or 24OV operation and a 3-ampere fuse forany of 110V, 117V, or 130V operation. lf the rating of thefuse is proper, install the fuse on ihe fuse cap.OPlaces where there is as little vibration as possible and wherethe surface is level. The optimum stereophonic listening position is across the roomfrom the speakers, sornewhere close to the midpoini betweenthe right and leit speaker systems.Fig. 1OReplacing of FuseWhen the fuse is blown off, remove the fuse cap and replacethe fuse with a new one.wTvyZ FUSE cAP FUsE rusF PLUG socKETa*e off the luse caD by lurning rr wirh acoin, etc. in th dneclion indicared hy theRadioFans.CN 收音机爱 好者资料库TPIONEESELEOTORFM AIJTO:!:zr.lFM N4oNo/ I e.b/3+loFifiiEEtrlsg 1t D STATE Sr ERES R ECETVE R vonrr sx - r &oiFM ll 88 92 96 1oo 1o4 1oB MHzililrrrrllrrrItil$ailtilrtililtrrllililtlllilIa liltlIuIrilrIrailtrnr-ilrrilrAM ll 55 60 70 B0100 12O 140 160 xro KHz rUt,rrrrrcINDICATORFIU STERESPEAKERS BASVOLUME Low HtcH VODE fnpr H,1ONFILTER FILTER STEREO. ,STEREOLXIRA FRONTN,4AIN .L vn|n.FXTFA LrREAR gq6N1 qE4q-RT LT a RTLOUDNESS MUTTNG.AFC PHONO:,:rs,POWER K I SPOFFOFFt,IPHONESNllN YN/AX VtIYVAX rErT N/INYMAX10 11 1213141516Fig. 2Fig. 326 27 28 29 303435 3637 38 39f E,i irg*NS:6.NFunctions of the front pane! controls and indicatorsboost, and turnrng rt counterclockwise will reduce treble response. The center top indicates the intermediate point.Note: These controls (BASS and TREBL E) are of two sectiontype;the front section adlusts thesection adjusts the right channelis adjusted for both channelsthe response for only onechannel. the section corre-sponding to the channel maybe adlusted while the otheris held by hand.left channel and the rearUsaully, the tone responsesimultaneously.
