Notice that the minus side of a tantalum capacitor may be dam-aged by heat.Flexible Circuit Board Repairing Keep the temperature of the soldering iron around 270 C dur-ing repairing. Do not touch the soldering iron on the same conductor of thecircuit board (within 3 times). Be careful not to apply force on the conductor when solderingor unsoldering.CAUTIONUse of controls or adjustments or performance of proceduresother than those specified herein may result in hazardous ra-diation exposure.SAFETY-RELATED COMPONENT WARNING!COMPONENTS IDENTIFIED BY MARK 0 OR DOTTEDLINE WITH MARK 0 ON THE SCHEMATIC DIAGRAMSAND IN THE PARTS LIST ARE CRITICAL TO SAFEOPERATION. Therefore, when checking the laser diode emis-sion, observe from more than 30 cm away from the objective lens.LASER DIODE AND FOCUS SEARCH OPERATIONCHECKCarry out the “S curve check” in “CD section adjustment” andcheck that the S curve waveforms is output three times. Unleaded solder melts at a temperature about 40 C higher thanordinary solder.Ordinary soldering irons can be used but the iron tip has to beapplied to the solder joint for a slightly longer time.Soldering irons using a temperature regulator should be set toabout 350 C.Caution: The printed pattern (copper foil) may peel away if theheated tip is applied for too long, so be careful! Strong viscosityUnleaded solder is more viscou-s (sticky, less prone to flow)than ordinary solder so use caution not to let solder bridges oc-cur such as on IC pins, etc. Usable with ordinary solderIt is best to use only unleaded solder but unleaded solder mayalso be added to ordinary solder.Ver 1.2RadioFans.CN 收音机爱 好者资料库5CX-JN1HOW TO OPEN THE DISC TRAY WHEN POWER SWITCH TURNS OFF.3Pull-out the disc tray.1Remove the case (side-L).2Turn the loading gear in the direction of arrow A.ARadioFans.CN 收音机爱 好者资料库6CX-JN1SERVICE POSITION CD mechanism deck Tape mechanism deck main board (CN691)Connect wire (flat type) (19 core) tomain board (CN691) and BD board (CN710).BD board (CN710)BD board (CN710)Connect wire (flat type) (13 core) topanel board (CN601) and mechanical deck.panel board (CN601)main board (CN301)RadioFans.CN 收音机爱 好者资料库7CX-JN1SECTION 2GENERALThis section is extracted frominstruction manual.En1 DISC CHANGE Rotates the CD trays.2 POWER 6STANDBY/ON Switches the unit on and off (standby). The red indicator flashes when receiving a signal fromthe remote.3 MODE Selects various modes (ECO and Repeat/Shuffle/Programmed playback, etc.) when used in combinationwith ENTER and MULTI JOG.4 ENTER Fixes the modes and the time (ECO, Repeat/Shuffle/Programmed playback, clock, and timer, etc.) when usedin combination with ENTER and MULTI JOG.!
