SAFETY INFORMATIONThis service manual is intended for qualified service technicians ; it is not meant for the casual do-it-yourselfer. Qualified technicians have the necessary test equipment and tools, and have been trainedto properly and safely repair complex products such as those covered by this manual.Improperly performed repairs can adversely affect the safety and reliability of the product and mayvoid the warranty. If you are not qualified to perform the repair of this product properly and safely, youshould not risk trying to do so and refer the repair to a qualified service technician.WARNINGThis product contains lead in solder and certain electrical parts contain chemicals which are known to the state of California to causecancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.Health & Safety Code Section 25249.6 Proposition 65NOTICE(FOR CANADIAN MODEL ONLY)Fuse symbols (fast operating fuse) and/or (slow operating fuse) on PCB indicate that replacement parts mustbe of identical designation.REMARQUE(POUR MODLE CANADIEN SEULEMENT)Les symboles de fusible (fusible de type rapide) et/ou (fusible de type lent) sur CCI indiquent que les picesde remplacement doivent avoir la mme dsignation.ANY MEASUREMENTS NOT WITHIN THE LIMITSOUTLINED ABOVE ARE INDICATIVE OF A POTENTIALSHOCK HAZARD AND MUST BE CORRECTED BEFORERETURNING THE APPLIANCE TO THE CUSTOMER.2. PRODUCT SAFETY NOTICE Many electrical and mechanical parts in the appliancehave special safety related characteristics. These areoften not evident from visual inspection nor the protectionafforded by them necessarily can be obtained by usingreplacement components rated for voltage, wattage, etc.Replacement parts which have these special safetycharacteristics are identified in this Service Manual. Electrical components having such features are identifiedby marking with a on the schematics and on the parts listin this Service Manual. The use of a substitute replacement component which doesnot have the same safety characteristics as the HHBrecommended replacement one, shown in the parts list inthis Service Manual, may create shock, fire, or other hazards. Product Safety is continuously under review and newinstructions are issued from time to time. For the latestinformation, always consult the current HHB ServiceManual. A subscription to, or additional copies of, HHBService Manual may be obtained at a nominal charge fromHHB.1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS The following check should be performed for thecontinued protection of the customer and servicetechnician.LEAKAGE CURRENT CHECK Measure leakage current to a known earth ground (waterpipe, conduit, etc.) by connecting a leakage current testersuch as Simpson Model 229-2 or equivalent between theearth ground and all exposed metal parts of the appliance(input/output terminals, screwheads, metal overlays, controlshaft, etc.). Plug the AC line cord of the appliance directlyinto a 120V AC 60Hz outlet and turn the AC power switchon. Any current measured must not exceed 0.5mA.(FOR USA MODEL ONLY)LeakagecurrenttesterReading shouldnot be above0.5mADeviceundertestTest allexposed metalsurfacesAlso test withplug reversed(Using AC adapterplug as required)EarthgroundAC Leakage TestRadioFans.CN 收音机爱 好者资料库3CDR-830IMPORTANTTHIS HHB APPARATUS CONTAINSLASER OF CLASS 3 b.SERVICING OPERATION OF THE APPARATUSSHOULD BE DONE BY A SPECIALLYINSTRUTED PERSON.LASER DIODE CHARACTERISTICSMAXIMUM OUTPUT POWER: 23 mWWAVELENGTH: 778 787 nm Refer to page 50.LABEL CHECKShield CaseKUXJ/CA typePrinted on Rear PanelWYXJ typeUSYNLIG LASERSTRLING VED BNING NR SIKKERHED SAF-BRYDERE ER UDE AF FUNKTION.UNDG UDSTTELSE FOR STRLINGUNSICHTBARE LASER-STRAHLUNG TRITT AUS, WENN DECKEL(ODER KLAPPE) GEFFNET IST! PANEL FACILITIES AND SPECIFICATIONS.841. Laser Interlock MechanismThe position of the switch (S101) on the LOAB Assy fordetecting loading state is detected by the systemmicroprocessor, and the design prevents laser diodeoscillation when the switch (S101) is not on TRAY terminalside (TRAY signal is OFF or high level.). Thus, theinterlock will no longer function if the switch (S101) isdeliberately set to TRAY terminal side (low level). The interlock also does not function in the test mode .Laser diode oscillation will continue, if pin 1 of CN101 onthe CD-R CORE ASSY is connected to low level.2. When the cover is opened with the servo mechanismblock removed and turned over, close viewing of theobjective lens with the naked eye will cause exposure to aClass 1 laser beam.Additional Laser Caution4CDR-8302.1 PACKING2. EXPLODED VIEWS AND PARTS LISTNOTES: Parts marked by NSP are generally unavailable because they are not in our Master Spare Parts List. The mark found on some component parts indicates the importance of the safety factor of the part. Therefore, when replacing, be sure to use parts of identical designation. Screws adjacent to mark on the product are used for disassembly.WYXJ Type onlyENTERCURSORMENU/DELETENAMEMARKSETCLEARDISPLAY/CHARA71?834?ABCDEFGHIMNOJKLPQRSTUVWXYZRECSYNCHROREPEATRANDOM NAME CLIPINPUTSELECTERFADERSKIP PLA YSKIP IDPROGRAMCHECKCLEARAUTO/MANUAL12345678910/010SCROLLTIME?13171415 264581611137191931112185CDR-830(1) PACKING PARTS LISTMark No. Description Part No. 1AC Power CordSee Contrast table (2)NSP2Registration CardSee Contrast table (2)3Audio Cable (L= 1m)RDE1036NSP4CD-R DiscPEX1013NSP5Burnlt BrochurePEX10146Operating InstructionsPRB1312(English)7Bar Code LabelSee Contrast table (2)NSP8Quick Start GuidePEX10179 10 11Remote Control UnitPWW1173NSP12Dry Cell Battery (R6P, AA)VEM-01313Polyethylene BagZ21-038(0.03 230 340)14Packing CasePHG243115Protecter (L)PHA134916Protecter (R)PHA135017Packing SheetAHG701518Battery CoverRZN1156NSP19LabelVRW1629MarkPart No.Symbol and DescriptionNo. KUXJ/CA WYXJ type type 1AC Power Cord DDG1071 DDG1072NSP2Registration Card PEX1015 PEX10167Bar Code Label 830KU PRW1587 Not used7Bar Code Label 830WY Not used PRW1588(2) CONTRAST TABLE CDR-830/KUXJ/CA and WYXJ type are constructed the same except for the following:Remarks6CDR-8302.2 EXTERIOR SECTIONABCBCADKKLLMEEFGHHIJJIMDFG11258234040374023402221212188831212173942627261024291581538215214119212012991216883132213232182193093635131720Refer to2.4 CD-R CORE ASSY(1/2),2.5 CD-R CORE ASSY(2/2).KUXJ/CA type only33Refer to 2.3 FRONT PANEL ASSY KUXJ/CAType Only14NOTEThis Parts of no service part. partially of the PCB board of COMPLEX Assy.
