This component may emit invisible, as well as visible radiation, which may cause eye damage. To protect your eyes and skin from laser radiation, the following precautions must beused during servicing of the unit.1) When testing and/or repairing any component within the product, keep your eyes and skin more than 30 cm away fromthe laser pick-up unit at all times. Do not stare at the laser beam at any time.2) Do not attempt to readjust, disassemble or repair the laser pick-up, unless noted elsewhere in this manual.3) CAUTION: Use of controls, adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified herein may result inhazardous radiation exposure.WARNING: CHEMICAL CONTENT NOTICE!The solder used in the production of this product contains LEAD. In addition, other electrical/electronic and/or plastic(where applicable) components may also contain traces of chemicals found by the California Health and WelfareAgency (and possibly other entities) to cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm.DO NOT PLACE SOLDER, ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC OR PLASTIC COMPONENTS IN YOUR MOUTH FOR ANYREASON WHATSOEVER!Avoid prolonged, unprotected contact between solder and your skin! When soldering, do not inhale solder fumes orexpose eyes to solder/flux vapor! If you come in contact with solder or components located inside the enclosure of this product, wash your handsbefore handling food. All of the P.C.B.s installed in this unit are soldered usingthe lead free solder.Among some types of lead free solder currently available,it is recommended to use one of the following types for therepair work. Sn + Ag + Cu (tin + silver + copper) Sn + Cu (tin + copper) Sn + Zn + Bi (tin + zinc + bismuth)Caution:As the melting point temperature of the lead free solder isabout 30C to 40C (50F to 70F) higher than that of the leadsolder, be sure to use a soldering iron suitable to each solder.About Lead Free Solder / 無鉛Laser Emitting conditions:1) When the top cover is removed, and the “STANDBY/ON” SW is turned to the “ON” position, the laser component will emita beam for several seconds to detect if a disc is present. During this time (5-10 sec.) the laser may radiate through thelens of the laser pick-up unit. Do not attempt any servicing during this period! If no disc is detected, the laser will stop emitting the beam. When a disc is set, you will not be exposed to any laseremissions.WALLOUTLETEQUIPMENTUNDER TESTAC LEAKAGETESTER OREQUIVALENTINSULATINGTABLE1. Such components commonly are calledElectrostatically Sensitive (ES) Devices. Examples of typical ES devices are integrated circuits and some field-effect transistorsand semiconductor “chip” components. The following techniques should be used to help reduce the incidence of componentdamage caused by electro static discharge (ESD).1. Immediately before handling any semiconductor component or semiconductor-equipped assembly, drain off any ESD onyour body by touching a known earth ground. Alternatively, obtain and wear a commercially available discharging ESD wriststrap, which should be removed for potential shock reasons prior to applying power to the unit under test.2. After removing an electrical assembly equipped with ES devices, place the assembly on a conductive surface such asaluminum foil, to prevent electrostatic charge buildup or exposure of the assembly.3. Use only a grounded-tip soldering iron to solder or unsolder ES devices.4. Use only an anti-static solder removal device. Some solder removal devices not classified as “anti-static (ESD protected)”can generate electrical charge sufficient to damage ES devices.5. Do not use freon-propelled chemicals. These can generate electrical charges sufficient to damage ES devices.6. Do not remove a replacement ES device from its protective package until immediately before you are ready to install it. (Mostreplacement ES devices are packaged with leads electrically shorted together by conductive foam, aluminum foil or compa-rable conductive material).7. Immediately before removing the protective material from the leads of a replacement ES divice, touch the protective materialto the chassis or circuit assembly into which the device will be installed.CAUTION: Be sure no power is applied to the chassis or circuit, and observe all other safety precautions.8. Minimize bodily motions when handling unpackaged replacement ES devices. (Otherwise harmless motion such as thebrushing together of your clothes fabric or the lifting of your foot from a carpeted floor can generate static electricity (ESD)sufficient to damage an ES device).Grounding for electrostatic breakdown prevention1. Human body grounding.Use the antistatic wrist strap to discharge the static electricity from your body.2. Work table grounding.Put a conductive material (sheet) or steel sheet on the area where the optical pickup is placed and ground the sheet.Caution:The static electricity of your clothes will not be grounded through the wrist strap. So take care not to let your clothes touch theoptical pickup.1M-ohmsConductive material(sheet) or steel sheetAnti-static wrist strapCDX-497/CDX-3976CDX-497/CDX-397I FRONT PANELSI REAR PANELSCDX-497 (R model)CDX-497 (R, T, K, A, B, G, J models)CDX-397 (R, T, A, B, G models)CDX-497 (T model)CDX-497 (K model)CDX-497/CDX-3977CDX-497/CDX-397CDX-497 (A model)CDX-497 (B, G models)CDX-497 (J model)CDX-397 (R model)CDX-397 (T model)CDX-497/CDX-3978CDX-497/CDX-397I REMOTE CONTROL PANELSCDX-397 (A model)CDX-397 (B, G models)CDX-497 (R, T, K, A, B, G, J models)CDX-397 (R, T, A, B, G models)CDX-497/CDX-3979CDX-497/CDX-397I INTERNAL VIEWUnit: mm (inch)単位:mm ()I SPECIFICATIONS / 参考仕様I Audio Section / 部Frequency Response / 周波数特性 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 Hz to 20 kHz, 0.5 dBTotal Harmonic Distortion + Noise (1 kHz) / 高調波歪率 (1 kHz) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 0.003 % or lessSignal to Noise Ratio / 信号対雑音比 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 105 dB or moreDynamic Range / . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 95 dB or moreOutput Voltage (1 kHz, 0 dB) / 出力電圧 (1 kHz、0 dB) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2.0 0.5 VHeadphone Output (-20 dB) / 出力電圧 (-20 dB)CDX-497 model . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 750 100 mV/32 ohmsI General / 総合Power Supply / 電源電圧R model .AC 110-120/220-240 V, 50/60 HzT model.AC 220 V, 50 HzK model.AC 220 V, 60 HzA model.AC 240 V, 50 HzB, G models .
