STATUS INDICATORThis displays the settings made in the MAIN MENU and the status of the remote device.CHECKING THE STATUS 1. Display the MAIN MENU on the LCD of the RC3001, then press the button next to the “STATUS” indicator. 2. Pressing the ENTER button cycles through the statuses of each of the items below. RESETIf the RC3001 is not operating properly, use the procedure below to perform a reset (restart). Performing a reset does not erase the settings in the RC3001. 1. Remove the battery case cover. 2. Use a paper clip or other object to press the reset button in the reset hole as shown in the fi gure below to reset the RC3001.Note:Perform the reset with the battery pack loaded.6. PROGRAMMABLE CODESNUMBER OF PROGRAMMABLE CODESThis remote control has Flash memory 4M bit (512KB) that enables it to program remote control signals include the learned codes for up to 8000 codes.This number is for Marantz remote control codes. Open the downloaded fi le in your PC and follow the on screen instructions to install the editor.Notes:You can install Wizz.it 3 together with other Marantz editors. The fi les of Wizz.it 3 are automatically placed in a separate directory.CUSTOMIZING THE CONFIGURATION FILEDuring the installation of the editor, one confi guration fi le was also saved on your PC.There is one default confi guration fi le which you can start from to create a custom confi guration fi le (CF) (defaultRC3001.mcf).The default CF is constructed in such a way that they can be easily adjusted to the needs of every customer. This fi le contains the main Marantz remote control codes for enabling control of Marantz products with the default settings.CONNECTIONSCONNECT PC AND REMOTE CONTROLLER 1. The attached USB cable connects to the USB port of remote controller and the USB port of your PC 2. Open the USB Device wizard menu in your PC automatically. 3. Select the automatic scanning of USB driver or select the location of USB driver.
