Noise from Surround L/R Speaker. 1) Turn on the unit after 5-second or more standby state. 2) After the relay of the speaker turns on and 2 seconds or more pass. 3) PCM input of CD, Noise can be heard from Surround L/R speakers just before Playback CD. (Only when other speakers are lengthened on the basis of Surround L/R by setup of “SPEAKERDISTANCE”, phenomenon occurs.) 2. The Sound is MUTE by operation of HDD Recorder. 1) When connect SR5400 / SR6400 to Panasonic or Toshiba HDD Recorder by Digital connection, then operation by HDD Recorder. The Sound is Mute Reproducibility -Connection with Panasonic model: HDD Recorder returns to built-in Tuner after operating reservation screen, phenomenon will occur. -Connection with Toshiba model: Playback Dolby Format recorded on the hard disk, then changes to PCM playback of built-in tuner, phenomenon will occur. 3. The output level changes. 1) When SUBWOOFER is chosen as NONE by SPAKER SETUP and Press the 6.1 CH INPUT button during S-Direct operation, output level will change. REASONS Fault of DSP CODE and the signal detection method SOLUTION The software was fixed. 1. Replace the microprocessor IC28 on the DSP PCB. Version to V040412 1 2.
