When replacing a component identified with, use only the replacement parts designated, or parts with the same ratings or resistance, wattage, or voltage that are designated in theparts list in this manual. Leakage-current or resistance measurements must be made to determine that exposed parts are acceptablyinsulated from the supply circuit before retuming the product to the customer. Some semiconductor (solid state) devices can be damaged easily by static electricity. Such components commonly are calledElectrostatically Sensitive (ES) Devices. Examples of typical ES devices are integrated circuits and some field effect transistors andsemiconductor chip components. The following techniques should be used to help reduce the incidence of component damage caused by static electricity.1. Immediately before handling any semiconductor component or semiconductor-equipped assembly, drain off any electrostatic charge onyour body by touching a known earth ground. Alternatively, obtain and wear a commercially available discharging wrist strap device, which should be removed for potential shock reasons prior to applying power to the unit under test.2. After removing an electrical assembly equipped with ES devices, place the assembly on a conductive surface such as aluminum foil, toprevent electrostatic charge build-up or exposure of the assembly.3. Use only a grounded-tip soldering iron to solder or unsolder ES devices.4. Use only an anti-static solder removal device. Some solder removal devices not classified as anti-static can generate electrical chargessufficient to damage ES devices.5. Do not use freon-propelled chemicals. These can generate electrical change sufficient to damage ES devices.6. Do not remove a replacement ES device from its protective package until immediately before you are ready to install it. (Most replacementES devices are packaged with leads electrically shorted together by conductive foam, aluminum foil or comparable conductive material.)7. Immediately before removing the protective material from the leads of a replacement ES device, touch the protective material to thechassis or circuit assembly into which the device will be installed.Be sure no power is applied to the chassis or circuit, and observe all other safety precautions.8. Minimize bodily motions when handling unpackaged replacement ES devices. (Otherwise harmless motion such as the brushing togetheror your clothes fabric or the lifting of your foot from a carpeted floor can generate static electricity sufficient to damage an ES devices.CAUTION : AVR745 harman/kardonharman/kardon RadioFans.CN 收音机爱 好者资料库2SAFETY PRECAUTIONSThe following check should be performed for the continuedprotection of the customer and service technician.LEAKAGE CURRENT CHECKMeasure leakage current to a known earth ground (waterpipe, conduit, etc.) by connecting a leakage current testerbetween the earth ground and all exposed metal parts of theappliance (input/output terminals, screwheads, metaloverlays, control shaft, etc.). Plug the AC line cord of theappliance directly into a 120V AC 60Hz outlet and turn theAC power switch on. Any current measured must not exceedo.5mA.ANY MEASUREMENTS NOT WITHIN THE LIMITSOUTLINED ABOVE ARE INDICATIVE OF APOTENTIAL SHOCK HAZARD AND MUST BECORRECTED BEFORE RETURNING THE APPLIANCETO THE CUSTOMER.DeviceundertestTest allexposed metalsurfacesAlso test withplug reversed(Using AC adapterplug as required)AC Leakage TestLeakagecurrenttesterReading shouldnot be above0.5mAEarthground AVR745 harman/kardonharman/kardon 3AVR 745 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS58TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONSAudio SectionStereo Mode Continuous Average Power (FTC)100 Watts per channel, 20Hz20kHz, 0.07% THD, both channels driven into 8 ohmsSeven-Channel Surround Modes Power per Individual ChannelFront L&R channels:85 Watts per channel 0.07% THD, 20Hz20kHz into 8 ohmsCenter channel:85 Watts 0.07% THD, 20Hz20kHz into 8 ohmsSurround (L & R Side, L & R back) channels:85 Watts per channel 0.07% THD, 20Hz20kHz into 8 ohmsInput Sensitivity/ImpedanceLinear (High-Level)200mV/47k ohmsSignal-to-Noise Ratio (IHF-A)100dBSurround System Adjacent Channel SeparationPro Logic I/II 40dBDolby Digital (AC-3)55dBDTS55dBFrequency Response 1W (+0dB, 3dB)10Hz 130kHzHigh Instantaneous Current Capability (HCC)60 AmpsTransient Intermodulation Distortion (TIM)UnmeasurableSlew Rate40V/secFM Tuner SectionFrequency Range87.5108.0MHzUsable SensitivityIHF 1.3V/13.2dBfSignal-to-Noise RatioMono/Stereo 70/68dBDistortionMono/Stereo 0.2/0.3%Stereo Separation40dB 1kHzSelectivity400kHz, 70dBImage Rejection80dBIF Rejection90dBAM Tuner SectionFrequency Range5201720kHzSignal-to-Noise Ratio45dBUsable SensitivityLoop 500VDistortion1kHz, 50% Mod 0.8%Selectivity10kHz, 30dBVideo SectionTelevision FormatNTSCInput Level/Impedance1V p-p/75 ohmsOutput Level/Impedance1V p-p/75 ohmsVideo Frequency Response (Composite and S-Video)10Hz8MHz (3dB)Video Frequency Response (Component Video) 10Hz100MHz (3dB)HDMIVersion 1.1GeneralPower RequirementAC 120V/60HzPower Consumption120W at Power On, idle; 1,405W at rated power output (7 channels driven)DimensionsProductShippingWidth17-5/16 inches (440mm)20-1/16 inches (510mm)Height6-1/2 inches (165mm)10 inches (254mm)Depth17-1/16 inches (435mm)22-3/16 inches (565mm)Weight44 lb (19.9kg)51 lb (23.1kg)Depth measurement includes knobs, buttons and terminal connections.Height measurement includes feet and chassis. All features and specifications are subject to change without notice.Harman Kardon, Harman International and Logic 7 are registered trademarks of Harman International Industries, Incorporated.and are trademarks of Harman International Industries, Incorporated.Dolby, Pro Logic and the Double-D symbol are registered trademarks of Dolby Laboratories.Manufactured under license from Dolby Laboratories.DTS, DTS Surround, DTS-ES, DTS 96/24 and DTS Neo:6 are registered trademarks of DTS, Inc.A-BUS and A-BUS/READYare registered trademarks of Leisure Tech Electronics Pty Ltd Australia.SACD is a trademark of Sony Corporation.iPod is a registered trademark of Apple Computer, Inc.DLP and Texas Instruments are trademarks of Texas Instruments.Faroudja and DCDi by Faroudja are trademarks of Genesis Microchip, Inc.HD-DVD is a trademark of the DVD Format/Logo Licensing Corporation (DVD FLLC).HDMI, the HDMI logo and High-Definition Multimedia Interface are trademarks or registered trademarks of HDMI Licensing, LLC.Microsoft,Windows and Windows Media are registered trademarks of Microsoft Corporation in the United States and other countries.XM-Ready is a registered trademark of XM Satellite Radio, Inc.
